Scallop Circle Denim Pouch
Supplies: Scallop Circle Die, Stamp-a-Majig, Bleach, Crop-a-Dile, Eyelets, Ribbon & Stamps (Baroque Motifs), Denim (Fabric), & Sewing Machine (unless you don't mind hand sewing) |
Sew two denim scallop circles together |
Using a stamp-a-majig choose where to place your image |
Keep stamp-a-majig guide in place, stamp image with bleach, repeat this step several times |
Using a heat tool helps speed up the bleaching process, (if the image is too faint, repeat the previous step) |
Use a crop-a-dile to punch holes in pouch (you can punch through both layers at the same time) I started with the outsides and worked my way in (trying to keep them even). |
Add eyelets to the holes using crop-a-dile |
Add eyelets to both sides separately |
Thread a ribbon through the eyelets & tie togther |
Fill pouch with something nice & it's ready to hang |
This would be nice filled with lavender and hung in the wardrobe, or given as a gift.
I would love to see what else could be done with this project, as I've had the idea floating around in my head for a little while and just decided it had to be done.
super - love the bleaching!!!
