Cheerful Christmas- Peek a boo!

Stamps: Cheerful Christmas
Card stock: Real Red, Whisper White, Soft Sky & Nordic Noel dsp.
Ink: Craft White & Real Red.
Embossing Powder: White
Blendabilities: Old Olive
Framelits: Deco Labels Collection.
Punches: 1 3/8" Circle & 1 1/4" Circle.
Extras: Real Red Ribbon & Sequins
The colour looks a bit funny here, but I've used the the Old Olive Blendabilities to add green to the Leafy bits after the image has been stamped with White Craft ink then set with White Embossing powder . I've also added some sequins with glue dot to the image. Just outside the Real Red Deco Label, I've used the Real Red Marker to draw a dotted line onto the Whisper White Deco Label.
I added some dimensionals to this circle with the bauble & ribbon, then placed onto the card just slightly overlapping the deco labels which are only attached to the left side of the card. This helps to keep the card closed.

Here you can see I've stamped the image with Real Red ink, then coloured it in with Calypso Coral Blendabilities, highlighted the centre with the colour lifter, & adde the lightest Night of Navy.

Christmas Baubles, A Bowls of Cherries, Shakers & a little Surprise

It seem like it takes me ages to the pictures up after I've made the cards...But I guess they don't always end up on here in the same order that I make them in. Sometimes it's because I might colour-in an image but not make it into a card...for a very long time ...well I actually made this one into a card recently- finally.
Stamps: Christmas Bauble & Good Greetings.
Card stock: Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Brushed Gold & Whisper White.
Blendabilities: Rich Razzleberry, Night of Navy, Wisteria Wonder, Daffodil Delight, Old Olive & Cherry Cobbler.
Extras: Gold Embossing Powder & Razzleberry Ribbon.

This was another one of those ones that I had coloured-in, left laying around for ages, then found the red card base I had used as a demonstration  but only for the framelit flip part, (no decorating) & thought why not put the two together...
For more details on the Framelit Flip card Click Here.

Stamps: Christmas Bauble & Endless Wishes.
Card stock: Cherry Cobbler, Whisper White & Lost Lagoon.
Water-coloured Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Old Olive, Lost Lagoon & Daffodil Delight.
Extras: Deco Label Framelits & Black Embossing Powder.
Mini Ornament Punch, All is Calm Washi Tape & Cherry Cobbler Baker Twine.

I was kind of copy catting the sample in the Seasonal Catalogue here, but trying to add a shaker frame too.
Stamps: Holiday Homes
Card stock: Pool Party & Whisper White.
Ink: Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, Smoky Slate, Bermuda Bay & Basic Gray.
Punches: Circles & Scallop Circle
Extras: Frosted + in-Colour Sequins, Dazzling Diamonds & round shaker frame foam.

Stamps: Giggle Greetings
Colours: Soft Sky, Lost Lagoon, Cherry Cobbler & Whisper White.
Textured Embossing Folder : Chevron
Extras: Black Embossing Powder, Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine & the Cherry from the Cupcake Builder Punch.

I used an Aqua Painter & ink to watercolour the image after embossing with black. I also added a bit of White Chalk Pen to the Cherries & a Smoky Slate shadow.

I seen a version of this card while surfing for ideas one day. Mine is similar to the one I had seen, but I didn't have the stamp set they had used, & the colours are different too.
This is a link to where I seen this card & got the idea. Flowerbug's Inkspot

Slider Cards

These Slider cards were really easy and so much fun to make... I love these cards at the moment, I'm sure you can tell when you see them all. Though I must admit I am missing one from the collection, which I left behind for some to use as a guide (it was was one of my favourites too).
So of course I did use this card for a workshop project, and yes...everyone loved it!

No, this wasn't the workshop project, though I did bring it along to show the versatility of the card.
I Just loved the idea of putting the car on the slider and now I'd have to say this is probably my most favourite one.
(This is not my stamp set by the way, I borrowed it from my wonderful friend Shari, who shares everything, lucky for me)

This one seemed like a good idea at the time... but I didn't quite pull it off, I guess that's what happens when you stay up too late working on the wrong projects : /
Stamps: Holiday Homes, Lovely as a Tree & Good Greetings.
Colours Basic Black Whisper White, Night of Navy & Daffodil Delight.
Framelits: Holiday Homes & Chalk Talk.
Techniques: Masking & Sponging.
I just wanted to mention here that if you want to save on card stock just cut the length of card to 8 1/4" instead of 81/2". This way you'll get two out of a sheet of A4. You will need change one other measurement though, instead of cutting the slot 1 1/2" from the edge you'll cut 1 1/4", you'll also have a smaller section to stick the card together with ( 1/4" instead of 1/2"). I found changing to these measurements was quite easy to adjust. I just wish I had thought of it before I had drawn up the measurements and instructions...

My Friends Wedding

Ok, I'm a little slow at getting things on here (the wedding was last summer : ). But at least I've finally managed to get these pictures up.
As I was a bridesmaid to my very dear friend, (whom I have know since primary school) it was put upon me to deal with the invitations, though she had input to the design and we had a team work effort with another of the bridesmaids to help produce all 60 invitations.
The invitation:
Closed with white satin ribbon. Embellished mini silver brads & rhinestone brad, on Tempting Turquoise Butterflies (Beautiful Wings Embosslits) spritzed with white frost shimmer.
Silver Embossed stamps from Baroque Motifs & Wedding Sweet, on white Vellum, mounted on Tempting Turquoise Card stock, mounted on Brushed Silver card stock, mounted on white card stock.
Side punched with Scallop Trim Border Punch.
Opened one side to reveal Bird Cage poem tucked into the pocket on the left.
Pocket is stamps with Baroque Motifs & embossed with Tempting Turquoise powder.
Silver embossed stamp cut out with Labels Collection Framelit on the right.
Opened on both sides, revealing R.S.V.P. in the pocket on the right.
Main information printed onto white card stock and attached to invitation with a mini silver brad.

Flipping the piece of white card stock up to reveal more information (about organised transport), printed onto Tempting Turquoise card stock.

This is the wedding card I made to give my friend on her big day.
I kept all the colours the same as the invitations to match (White, Vellum & Tempting Turquoise card stock) although I've used Silver Glimmer Paper instead of Brushed Silver here.
Stamps: Baroque Motifs, Perfectly Penned, Papillon Potpourri.
Embossing powders: Silver & Temping Turquoise.

The butterflies have embossed with Tempting Turquoise on white Vellum before being punched out with the Elegant Butterfly &...

the Bitty Butterfly.

I used pastels on the envelope to create a softer look.

Bonbonniere
My friend decided to go with the bag-a-lope as her bonbonniere.
All elements matching invitations of course.

Filling the bonbonnieres: With sugared almond of course.
We used Adorning Accents Edgelits to cut strips of blue & white tissue paper to help fill the bag-a-lope. We also dropped a few heart shaped chocolates wrapped in silver & blue foil with their names on them into the bag-a-lope.
Again this project had a team work effort to get it done.

Table centre pieces.
You always hope people appreciate the effort that goes into these projects when there are so many to make.
Packing the majority of the table dressings.
(I never got any decent pictures of the bridal table decorations).
