It seems lock down is the only chance I get to add a post on here.😏

Or in this case I was going to organize a class at home... that was until the lock down happened.

So now it's a post with some photos and a video instead.

All the basic pieces of cardstock to make the card, not including extra white cardstock for chickens to be stamped, die cut and added to finished card.

Please note: The measurement above are what I used in the video with one slight difference to the measurements at the end of the page. 

In the video (and above) the white pop-up panels  are 1" x 5" in size and are scored at 1", 2" and 4".

This measurement fits better into this card base. 

I think the original card base may have been 8 1/4" or 8 1/2" long, but I altered it to work better for me.

Center Explosion Card - Featuring Happy Birthday to you & Painted Poppies

Hello everyone,
I'm assuming you all stuck inside because of the Coronavirus Pandemic...
What a very uncertain time for us all...

For those of you who are stuck in isolation and getting a little bored... I've got a challenge for you.
Well it came about because I had to cancel my last class -due to social distancing rules, and all my lovely ladies who attend regularly were then missing out. So instead of two slightly more complex projects that I would normally do, I've chosen one reasonably simple card inspire by Dawn Griffiths, as the challenge project.
This will be a little show & tell... until we meet again.

Ink: Memento Black

All basic pieces of card stock used.

Card Base 12" x 5 1/2" Melon Mambo & Belly Bend 10" x 3/4" Lovely Lipstick.

Three pieces of Whisper White cut at 3 1/4" x 5 1/4". One for the front of the card and two for the inside.

DSP-Sampler two pieces cut at 5 1/4" x 2 1/4".

Memento Black ink; is a water based ink ideal for stamping outlines to be coloured in with alcohol markers. Stampin' Blends; are alcohol based markers available in a dark and light of most colours except neutrals. Excellent for blending and layering colour onto whisper White card stock.

The Small Grey Lead pencil insert was an after thought using A4 card stock. The only real difference is the length which is 11 1/2" instead 12" and the middle score is at 5 3/4".
