Nailed It - Pop-up Panel Card

Stamp sets: Nailed It, Gorgeous Grunge & Adventure Awaits
Cardstock: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Delightful Dijon & Whisper White
Ink: Basic Gray, Smoky Slate, Delightful Dijon, Pumpkin Pie, Cajun Craze & Archival Black
Tools: Build It Framelits, Paper Crimper & Hexagons Dynamic Folder
Extras: Kraft Rope Trim
Techniques: Sponging & Watercolouring

This card is totally inspired by Rose Packers card that I had seen on Pinterest
With a little searching I found Rose's Blog post featuring this cards inspiration.

This ended up being the perfect card for my dad's birthday... being a builder and all that handy stuff dads do.

I love the rustic textures of a card like this. You can get rough with it and messy too and it still looks good.

The pop-up panel is great for a wow factor and gives plenty of room for decorating the inside of the card, if that's what you'd like to do.
I had seen a few cards on Pinterest with the pop-up panel featuring the Nailed It stamp set, but probably too many to give credit to any one person.

Angled Boxes & a bit of Christmas Magic

Stamps: Christmas Magic
Cardstock: Real Red, Whisper White & Gold Foil
Ink: Black Archival, Old Olive, Real Red, Soft Sky & Pumpkin Pie
Extras: Cherry Cobbler Bakers Twine, Gold Embossing Powder & Gold Glitter
Techniques: Watercolouring & colouring straight from markers

This box was big enough for some small candy canes and Christmas toffees.

The patterned box in the background is made from 11 1/2"x 11 1/2" of dsp (Designer Series Paper).
The tall red box is made from 8 1/4" x 8 1/2" of Real Red cardstock.
The short green box is made from 10 1/2" x 8" of Garden Green cardstock.
The pink box is made with rectangle walls therefore cannot be scored on the Diagonal Score Plate, so I didn't write down the measurements.
You should be able to score most boxes with square sides easily on the Diagonal Score Plate.

The boxes in the photo are made to the patterns in the temple except the pink one.

Corner fold card - Featuring From land to Sea

Stamp Set: From Land to Sea & Hardwood
Cardstock: Night of Navy, Whisper White & Sahara Sand
Ink: Night of Navy, Pacific Point, Marina Mist, Tempting Turquoise, Soft Sky, Real Red, Cherry Cobbler, Delightful Dijon, Always Artichoke, Island Indigo, Pool Party, Cucumber Crush,  So Saffron, Pumpkin Pie, Soft Suede & Versa Mark
Tools: Hearth & Home Thinlits & Heat Tool
Extras; Clear Embossing Powder, White Gel Pen & Wink of Stella
Techniques: Heat Emboss & Resist, Watercolouring, Sponging & Masking

I used a white gel pen to write the message on to this piece of cardstock before adhering onto the card base.

The Card base is just a large square, scored in half vertical and in half horizontally to make four square quarters. Then score one quarter in half diagonally and cut along the scoreline of the quarter next to the diagonally scored quarter (not the same quarter with the diagonal scoreline, but the next  one over).

It's much easier to stick all the pieces onto the card base before assembling it together.

Here I have tucked excess twine into the two sides that create the front of the card.

The diagonal scoreline on the bottom of the card folds up so that the whole card will fold flat.

I Wrapped the present in brown paper and Kraft Rope Trim (with lots of knots), then slipped in a piece of cardstock with a jellyfish to match to card.

Stamp Sets: Oh What Fun & Holly Berry Happiness
Cardstock: Crumb Cake, Basic Black, Real Red, Garden Green & Candy Cane Lane dsp
Ink: White Craft, Versa Mark, Real Red & Garden Green
Tools: Star Framelits & Holly Berry Builder Punch
Extras: White Embossing Powder, White Gel Pen & Candy Cane Lane Washi Tape
Techniques: Heat Embossing & Sponging (chalkboard)

This card sat together better a different way than the previous card, so I just arranged the inserts to suit the card base.
